Wolfhound
War dogs of the ancients, circa 8000 BC. The Irish wolfhound weighs
100-150lbs and stands
33-36 inches high. Originally used for boar and wolf hunting and more
recently, guarding homes and
stock.
Irish Harp
Legend tell us the first harp was owned by Dagda, a chief among the
Tuatha De Danaan
Not heard of too much today, however it has become the national emblem.
