Son of Oisin and grandson of Finn MacCool. He was a mighty fighter and one of the Fianna, who acted as the bodyguards to the High King of Ireland. However King Cairbe at that time felt that the Fianna had to much power and tried to replace them with another band of fighters. Oscar killed Cairbe in single combat during the battle but was mortally wounded himself.

Lleu of the Skilful Hand.
From Welsh mythology, the son of Don's daughter Arianrhood. She unfortunately put 3 curses on him - he was to have no name lest she gave it to him, no weapons unless she provided them and no human wife.
His uncle Gwydion helped him overcome these setbacks although the wife that Gwydion and the magician Math created for him from flowers, Blodeuedd, nearly finished him. She and her lover plotted to kill Lleu, however when the guilty pair struck him he changed into an eagle and flew off.. Much later Gwydion found him and restored him to his human form.
