Brixia
Little known Celtic goddess, consort
of Luxovius, a god of healing and light. Details about these two have
been found at a ancient Celtic healing centre in Luxeuil in the Saône
valley of eastern France.
Brixia may also be another name for the triple goddess, Brigid; daughter
of The Dagda and wife of Bres.
Brigid's three aspects are (1) Fire of Inspiration as patroness of poetry,
(2) Fire of the Hearth, as patroness of healing and fertility, and (3)
Fire of the Forge, as patroness of smithcraft and martial arts.
