The daughter of the Welsh goddess Don and niece of Math, King of Gwynedd. Math could only sleep if his feet were held in a virgin's lap. Arianrhod wished to become the footholder and had to pass the virginity test of stepping over Math's wand. She failed the test, giving premature birth to twins, Dylan and Lleu.
