For a sort time he was
a leader of the Tuatha De Danann, the enemies of the Fomorii, the sea
gods who ruled Ireland before them.
He had a mixed career. His father was a Formorian King and his mother
from the De Danann. He grew so fast that at seven he looked fourteen.
He was very good looking and was known as Bres the Beautiful. However
he was not a great King of the De Danann and ended up fighting for the
Formorians and on the losing side.
