Pwyll, Welsh prince
of Dyfed made friends with Arawn, the Lord and King of Annwfn, the Welsh
Otherworld. They agreed to exchange shapes and kingdoms for one year.
Pwyll kills Arawn's rival and arch enemy Hafgan, but then becomes involved
with the beautiful Rhiannon.
They had a son, Pryderi, who dissapeared for seven years. King Arawn,
who owned a magic cauldron, gave the pigs to Pryderi
that played such an important part in Welsh legend.
